Notes: Volunteered for the Army in 1914, saying he was 18. Served in Egypt with the 5th Suffolk Regiment. On a visit to the home of his friend and Sergeant, William Rufus Hilling, he met William's eldest daughter Florence. Notes: Florence was always known as "Flo".

Joan died 18 January 1997, Stradbroke, Suffolk and Wilfred died 27 May 1990 at Stradbroke, Suffolk.

GWENDOLYN AUDREY GOOSE born 1935. Married Patrick Clive Bryant.      

PATRICIA EVELYN GOOSE born 1938. Married FREDERICK GERALD GARNHAM  3 August 1959, Redenhall, Norfolk.
